A real working biofarm in the Algarve countryside
Set within nine hectares of organic Algarve countryside near Paderne, Algarve Biofarm is a working biofarm specialising in aromatics, aloe vera, seasonal fruit and vegetables — creating farm-to-table food, natural workshops, private events, retreats, bespoke weddings and authentic Algarve experiences.
We grow many of our own ingredients on the farm — herbs, aromatics, aloe vera, fruit and vegetables — and weave them through everything we serve. Whether you come for our Algarvian Fire Cooking Experience, the Aloe Vera Experience, a private Algarve Fire Feast, a wedding or a longer stay at Casa Vermelha or Casa de Aloe, the farm itself is the experience.

Algarvian Fire Cooking Experience
Portuguese traditions with Moorish flavours. Walk the farm, meet the animals, then cook traditional Algarvian recipes in a wood-fired oven and over open flame — before sitting down together to share what you've made, with local drinks, tea, coffee and dessert.

Meet Our Animal Partners
Spend time with the living heart of the farm, including Cacau and Estrella our donkeys, Lucky our Shetland pony, as well as goats, sheep, chickens, ducks, peacocks, and more. Depending on the visit, guests may also feed the chickens, collect eggs, and feed the fish.
